We routinely provide services related to probate, administration, will preparation or contests, health care proxies, and trusts. Our services include drafting of wills, estate and charitable planning and administration of estates and trusts.
Most people would rather not think about preparing a will because of the unpleasant subject. It is important to have this document, however, so that your wishes are known as to what happen in the event of your death, rather than having your property pass through the laws of intestacy.
Even more importantly, if you have young children, your will is the vehicle through which you inform the Court whom you wish to have as the guardian in the event neither parent is alive. Also, we can set up a trust in the will so that all of your property will be placed in a trust to be administered for the benefit of your children.
